BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:
Richard Gonor has over 25 years of diverse, multi-industry successes as an Operations Executive in distribution operations, marketing, and engineering design and production.
He received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and began his career as a design engineer for Texas Instruments, in Dallas. After a period in design, he became a partner in an electronic product manufacturers' representative operation and moved to Houston.
An opportunity allowed him to become the founder of a local seafood processing, marketing, and distribution business. As President and owner, he grew this business for 15 years to over $18 million in annual sales. This responsibility, from implementing the business plan to securing financing for expansion into San Antonio, has provided a broad knowledge of many phases of business operations. After the sale of his seafood business, Richard worked as a marketing consultant to the seafood industry.
For the past six years, as a business broker with CBB, he has been devoted to applying his business experience to the valuation and marketing of distribution, manufacturing, and food service businesses.
