WORK EXPERIENCE:
Suzanne Hirsch, licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission, began a career in Business Brokerage 20 years ago. Her B.A. degree from the New York City University System, post graduate work in education, literature and cultural arts plus years of service on the boards of major charitable and civic organizations became a powerful foundation for her future accomplishments. She was a highly regarded educator in some of New York City's most difficult schools.
During the 1980's Suzanne was the owner and president of Abacus Business Brokers. Known as a master trainer of other business brokers, she has also been a sought after guest speaker by organizations interested in learning the art of buying and selling businesses. She has represented over thirty national franchises, including Fantastic Sams and Mail Boxes, Etc. Houstonians remember her for her long running, well attended "Tuesday Night Franchise Seminar" series.
Suzanne eventually sold Abacus Business Brokers and in 1992, when Abacus merged with Certified Business Brokers, she joined the firm as a senior broker.
Known in the industry as a great negotiator with strong people skills who can put together any viable deal, she has attained outstanding success in all areas of business sales including manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, service and retail businesses. Suzanne has long been considered Houston's leading expert in the sale of child care centers and private schools, often selling as many as three in one month.
