BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:
Pete is a proven merger & acquisition professional and an experienced entrepreneurial executive. His work background of over 40 years covers engineering, manufacturing, marketing and financial management. In the public arena, Pete has been a Vice President of Corporate Development, rising to President, COO and Director of an American Stock Exchange listed corporation. As an entrepreneur, he was a founder or co-founder of seven high-tech corporations, most of which marketed both domestically and internationally.
Pete has a Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and has completed extensive graduate work towards an MBA and a JD. After several years of varied energy industry experience, his first involvement in a start-up was as a co-founder and Vice President of a Merger & Acquisition consulting firm which specialized in acquisitions of high-technology companies by public companies. He has also been an investment banker and an independent consultant specializing in start-up and venture capital in high-technology companies.
Most of his industry experience has been related to the energy industry in E&P services, manufacturing and marketing. As the CEO of a fiberglass composite manufacturing company, he executed a technology transfer and built a manufacturing facility in China for China National Petroleum Company ("CNPC"). He later founded a trading company specializing in acquiring new technology for CNPC.
Pete's business activities created travel to and work in such diverse geographical areas as the North Sea, Russia, China, Venezuela and other countries in South America. His business activities covered drilling, drilling fluids, satellite communication, production equipment and multi-phase instrumentation. His people skills, developed in many cultures and environments, are an asset in any situation.
Pete's varied merger & acquisition experience, as a principal and a consultant and as a buyer and a seller have prepared him to lead and/or make valuable contributions to any transaction; small, middle market or larger. His multi-discipline education and experience in the fields of technical services, manufacturing, marketing and instrumentation will provide invaluable background knowledge and expert assistance to any transaction.
