Ed comes to Certified Business Brokers with over 40 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, business management, and financial consulting services. He has been a successful business owner of a large, commercial insurance agency in Houston for over 20 years, from its initial start-up to its sale. His experience included the mergers and acquisition of additional agencies.
After graduating with a BS Degree in Business Administration and Economics from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, he began his career with a Fortune 500 chemicals and plastics company. There he served in corporate mangement positions for 19 years and was responsible for all human resource functions, labor relations issues, and employee benefit programs for over 5,000 employees.
Ed's entrepreneurial and acquisition background along with his articulate negotiating ability and people-person savvy, are a boon to to business buyers and sellers. His honed intermediary skills will get the deal done.
